Cthuliz I'm not sure where you're located (I'm in the northeastern US), but Home Depot still has the A-683 available for in-store pickup: http://www.homedepot.com/p/t/100637982?langId=-1&storeId=10051&catalogId=10053&N=5yc1vZbqew&R=100637982#.Uq5IFGRDu58
nathan The Watts A-683 piece seems to be discontinued. Anyone have any idea what a good replacement piece may be??
dennis.lifefermented Be sure to stop by my page and let me know how your build goes if you do. I'd love any feedback on what you like and what could be changed- already had to add an extra hose clamp to my original design after using it for a while (I updated the build page a while back to reflect the change).
Adriana Moreno I love this! I will be doing this for my bathroom drawers! www.adrianamarisol.com

Cthuliz Aw, thanks, Alex — I miss you, too! We're thinking about moving back this winter but nothing's set in stone yet. I will have to get my ass out of -1,347,090˚F New York sometime.
Alex I think... these are awesome! And I miss you! When is your move back to Seattle?

Sophia Thank you so much for this tutorial! I really enjoyed it. I was going to dye my hair with henna powder but I wanted to get a little more information on it. I have dark brown hair already and was wondering what shade it would turn into? Would it still turn the vibrant red that you have or would it be darker?
Miriam I have been dying my hair any red from light auburn (which I prefer best) to as dark as Irish Red Auburn, thanks to my stylist who seems to think it should be darker every month for reasons I can't sink my teeth into! I have taken a harvest of hairbrush hair and used OOPS Color Remover to see if the color would lighten considerably. The final result was a gorgeous light ginger auburn which I would love to maintain using henna. Is there a way to achieve this by mixing 3/4 Cassia with 1/4 Henna just to make my normal drab dark blonde/grey roots close to the lighter auburn color? Has anyone done this, and is the application procedure any different? Thanks for this site. It is very informative.
gabriella Great information I love it!! I just started using henna and love the results!! But where do you find it soo cheap? 2 packsge for 1.98 wow!! My email is gabriella773@aol.com like to know what store. @thank you so much for your info.

Gloria Very nice! Thanks for sharing how you did it.
Kim Love it! If i ever advance beyond sewing on buttons and repairing seams I’m going to try this! (mistyped address first time)
Cthuliz Thanks, Parnuuna! Many of my ideas come from keeping up-to-date with the fashion blogosphere, which includes new products from some of my favorite online shops. This dress was inspired by ModCloth's Team Mod Mini Dress .

Cthuliz The length of the elastic is up to you — basically, just make the final length of elastic shorter than the circumference of your sleeve so it will crunch up and give the sleeve a ruffled effect. Although I don't believe I measured it for this tutorial, my "rule of thumb" is to place the elastic around my bare arm where the finished sleeve will fall, tighten it by 0.5 inches, and then mark that tightened final length on the elastic. If you'd like a safer approach, you can always use long basting stitches to try elastic different lengths before sealing up the sleeve in step 8. Let me know how it goes — I'm so glad you're liking it so far! :)
Leslie How much elastic do you use? Do you measure the elastic around the arm or just thread it through and once it is all the way around cut it? I am loving this and I hope you respond quickly because I am right in the middle of it!

Cthuliz Danke! If you're logged into BurdaStyle, you should be able to go to the pattern page at http://www.burdastyle.com/pattern_store/patterns/ruby and look to the bottom right of the pictures. There, it will list a price and a button that says "Get it now." Click that button, and you should be redirected to your Purchase History page. Once purchased, you can always download the pattern from the Purchase History page.
flybird02445 Love love love these, and I think I can make them! However, I cannot for the life of me download the original pattern! Any suggestions as to how I can get it? Thanks
Hannah Holy crap, that was fast. They look awesome!

Cthuliz Thanks for the feedback, Erin! Sorry the recipe wasn't to your liking. Since you liked the texture, you could try adjusting the spices or changing them completely. (I admit, I'm a bit of a rosemary freak.) To cut down on time, you could also drain some canned, pre-cooked lentils, and then top the pie with prepared mashed potato mix.
Erin Hello! I made this tonight. Texture was beautiful...but it was a little bland, but the spices that did come through (rosemary and thyme) were just not to my liking. I wanted to love it because it took a lot of time, but sadly, this won't be a repeat for me :(
