Since I don’t have much time to devote to crafts nowadays, any creativity has been funneled into organization: I create crafts that will help me shave seconds off my ever-precious daily schedule.
It’s pathetic. But these quick projects help distract me, and the activities themselves are fun.
For the longest time, I’ve been meaning to create a drawer organizer for my vanity’s drawer. The drawer was inexplicably overflowing with such bric-à-brac as hex screwdrivers, blunt pencils, and atoms from molecular modeling kits:
After being inspired by Design*Sponge and c.r.a.f.t., I jumped to work, massacring cardboard boxes and slathering everything with glue. Finally, I finished by coating each cardboard piece with wallpaper samples.
