Since I don’t have much time to devote to crafts nowadays, any creativity has been funneled into organization: I create crafts that will help me shave seconds off my ever-precious daily schedule.
It’s pathetic. But these quick projects help distract me, and the activities themselves are fun.
For the longest time, I’ve been meaning to create a drawer organizer for my vanity’s drawer. The drawer was inexplicably overflowing with such bric-à-brac as hex screwdrivers, blunt pencils, and atoms from molecular modeling kits:

The organizer has been incredibly helpful, and well worth the time invested.
On a somewhat related note, I also put some time aside to purchase closet doublers, which are immensely helpful, but would be easy to make if you have the time:
For once in my life, I have an organized vanity and an organized closet. What a daring life I lead.
