This comfy robe was sewn using the McCall’s 5248 pattern. To find the required cotton flannel for the job, I had to skulk about the children’s sleepwear area of my local fabric shop, where it took every ounce of my willpower to avoid buying fabric featuring frogs, owls, morbidly obese pandas, or any other eccentric zoological combination. Luckily, I found this smashing leafy fabric instead.
To up the robe’s contrast, I used blue cotton flannel for the facing and belt pieces. Other than that, I did not make any modifications to the pattern. It was a quick, easy project that would be perfect for beginners.
