Owl PJs (Back)

As much as I’d like to pretend my life is not influenced by television shows, it occasionally is. Twin Peaks has caused my delight for owls to steadily increase. (After all, they’re not what they seem.)

So when my friend and I went fabric shopping yesterday and I saw this ├╝ber comfy fleece owl print, I had to get it. I used the front and back pieces of the Simplicity 7229 pattern (view D), but went for an elastic drawstring much like Butterick’s free pull-on pants pattern.

For some silly reason, the free Butterick pattern doesn’t come with an 8.5″ by 11″ printable pattern; instead, it contains one page that you have to enlarge. I decided to be fairly helpful and convert that for you. Everyone deserves a fair chance when it comes to PJ ownership, especially if combating snow for an entire season. Seeing as the original Butterick pattern was so small, the PDF is pixelated, but everything should make sense and is still legible.
